The infamous GREEN VINYL Marbled 12"! Sublime - Date Rape 12" Marbled Green Vinyl -- Only 300 pressed-Sublime's second release after the "c003"-1991-different version of "Date Rape" not heard anywhere else! Format: 4 track 12". Label: Skunk Records. Catalog number: L-38908 (on run-out groove). Year of Release: 1991.
The "Doin' Time" Spotted "Lou Dog" 12" Vinyl ONLY 200 Pressed! This AWESOME spotted picture disc vinyl was LIMITED TO 200 PRESSED! AND ONLY released in Europe with an EXTREMELY LIMITED release. It is EXCEPTIONALLY RARE. Back in the day, this was the ONLY place that you could hear the "Tricked Out Life Sentence Remix" version of "Doin' Time" other than the "Louie Dog Box Set".
The "ALL YOU NEED" 7” Vinyl 45 w/ "Coloring Contest" Insert This vinyl, from way back in 1996, features a flip-side with the Wesley Willis Fiasco, killer artwork by Opie Ortiz as, & this is an Original like you would get back in 96’ direct from Skunk Records. When sublime made these, they were doing a contest where if you colored the included insert, you could win all kinds of stuff from Skunk; including a “40 oz. to Freedom” Skateboard. The “Coloring Contest” sleeve is on normal, glossy paper & the outside, “OG” sleeve is on thick card-stock glossy paper. Enjoy~
The Ultra RARE "Doin' Time" Promo Only European 12"-3 Track Vinyl This vinyl is BY FAR the most RARE and IMPOSSIBLE vinyl record to get by sublime. That you are even SEEING it is rare. These were made for a meeting at MCA records in the UK where they were going to talk about what items to produce for the single, "Doin' Time" by sublime. The problem was that the single did not do as well as MCA/Universal had expected in the U.S. market, so by the time the meeting was held overseas, many of the "potential" pieces of merchandise that were produced were abandoned. This was one (1 of said to be 5 [FIVE] made) that were produced for that meeting. In some cases, these "prop" pieces do not have the actual audio pressed onto the record (or CD) and they just end up in the trash, BUT this one DOES! I know the President of MCA Records & he knows that I'm a sublime freak so he held onto one of them for me & it's the one you see in the pictures. Throughout my 20 Years of collecting, I have seen ONLY 3 of these and I owned two of them. To say the least, Good Luck finding this one.
The "Doin' Time" 'DJ' Promo Only 12" This MCA promo is very rare indeed. These were made & given to DJ's, radio stations & club promoters to saturate the club market with sublime's new single, "Doin' Time". Very few of this vinyl were produced, they were never sold in stores & it features "A Capella" versions of the song, as well as unreleased remixes. The vinyl was released in a standard black industry sleeve & does not have any cover art.
The "Doin' Time" Luke Fair Remix (rr1000) This vinyl is incredibly rare. It was released in 2001 & there was a limited run of 1000. The remix is printed on one side only & this version of the song is highly sought after because it is a "DJ" remix and the audio is impossible to find on sharing sites, youtube, etc. In other words, you have to have to vinyl to hear the song! My suggestion: if you see one of these for sale, grab it VERY quickly. You might not have another chance.
The "Work That We Do" 7" vinyl This 7" vinyl is INFAMOUS among sublime collectors. The vinyl was made by "Dave Noise" of "Noise, Noise, Noise Records" in Costa Mesa, Ca. & "Lob" of "Vinyl Solution" in Huntington Beach, Ca. There was a total of ONLY 1000 pressed. This was made in conjunction with sublime because Lob & Dave were down with the band & sold their goods at their record stores. It contains only three tracks but is a VERY RARE collectible in sublime circles & usually sells for around $125.00 when you can find them.
This is one of the "Work That We Do" 7" TEST PRESSINGS! This 7" vinyl is INFAMOUS among sublime collectors. The vinyl was made by "Dave Noise" of "Noise, Noise, Noise Records" in Costa Mesa, Ca. & "Lob" of "Vinyl Solution" in Huntington Beach, Ca. According to "Dave Noise", There were ONLY 20 (TWENTY) "Test Pressings" made. (According to "Lob", it was more like 6 made) Whatever the case,... this bad boy is RARE!!! The vinyl has hand-written etchings on both sides of the vinyl on the run out groove & an all white center label. The etchings are as follows: Side A: # L-42317 # IN-04-A # ALMOST READY, ALMOST THERE --- Side B: # L-42317-X # IN-04-B # … OR IS IT ALREADY OVER? HOLLOWAY BLOWS! This was made in conjunction with sublime because Lob & Dave were down with the band & sold their goods at their record stores. It contains only three tracks but is a VERY RARE collectible in sublime circles & usually sells for around $500.00 IF you can find ONE.
The "Superstar Punani"/"April 29th 1992 (Leary)" Limited Edition 7" Released in 2009 as a "Record Store Day" special release. This vinyl is already VERY rare & was limited to 2500 pressed.
"What I Got" European Colored 7" vinyl Sublime Limited Edition What I Got 7". Only sold in Europe and highly collectable these days. Grab it if you see one.

The "Date Rape" Clear Vinyl 12" This is one of the most recognizable pieces from sublime. From 1995,... This vinyl is said to have had 2000 produced. It’s Out of Print & extremely hard to come by. On this Vinyl, there is a killer version of Peter Tosh’s “Steppin Razor” that is not to be missed,… Of course,… the tracks are all insane, but it’s the Vinyl itself that you really want to have! Super Cool “CLEAR" vinyl. A must for a “complete” sublime collection.
The "What I Got" 5 Track 12" Vinyl Direct from "Skunk Records" back in 1996, This vinyl was sold or given away as a "Promo" to promote the "Self Titled" album. This was one of the first "Big Pushes" for sublime with their new-found record label money so several thousand of these were produced. Because of the fact that the song, "What I Got" was so great, this Promo helped to get sublime noticed before the "S/T" album went big. On this Vinyl, there are two versions of “What I Got” as well as “Doin’ Time”, “Get Ready” & “April 29, 1992 (Miami). Very sweet and a must for your sublime collection.
Robbin' The Hood 12" Erika Records Test Pressing An insanely RARE Erika Records test pressing for the Robbin' The Hood Picture Disc 12".
The "Date Rape" **WHITE MARBLED** Clear 12" Vinyl!!! (ONE made??) This vinyl is SOOOOO RARE that I'm not even sure that it was supposed to exist! The "Date Rape" vinyl was made in "Clear" vinyl format ONLY, so what we have here is either a "mispress" which would essentially be a "one off", or a mistake with the press; where some of the ink from a previous vinyl was left in the press & was mistakenly pressed onto this "Clear" vinyl "Date Rape". Long story short, I have NEVER seen another one of these. * Notice the: "WHATEVVVAAH!" on the runout! Classic Sublime. The "price", of course is subjective but you probably are not going to get the buyer to sell it to you anytime soon.
The "40 oz. to Freedom" Cranberry "Erika Records" Repressing This is the 2 x Vinyl Limited Edition LP, Repressing on Cranberry vinyl from 2005. The Catalog# is: ER-2002-16. This is the 2005 re-press, limited to 2500 copies on cranberry colored vinyl. Includes new pictures of the band on the inner sleeves & a gate-fold sleeve with writings from Brad Nowell. *** Please Note!: The tracklisting on back cover is misprinted, but the tracklisting on inner sleeve is correct. ***
THE "40 OZ. TO FREEDOM" GLOW IN THE DARK "ERIKA RECORDS" REPRESSING This is Sublime's "40 oz. To Freedom" *Glow In The Dark* Double Vinyl Gatefold 12"! This was a Very Limited Edition pressing of 1000 from Erika Records. It came out in 2005 & is a gatefold with New pictures and writings from Bradley Nowell on the inside. This Long out of Print vinyl is VERY RARE & HARD TO FIND these days because most people bought these up really quickly.
THE MASTERPIECE-"40oz. to Freedom" ORIGINAL 2x Vinyl 12" This is IT people!!! The "OG" Right here on Beautiful, Black WAX! These are the Original pressings of "40oz." on double vinyl. I will show you a Sealed one so you can see what you are looking for when you're going for a SEALED "OG" but don't wanna open it to find out..... and as well, I will show you what an opened one looks like on the inside in all of it's glory! This is THE ONE that you want to get when you're goin' for that vinyl, so look closely & don't be fooled by all of the imitations that have come our way in the past few years. This LONG out of print, Original "40 oz. to Freedom" 12" vinyl is not too hard to find as they pressed quite a few. However, with all of the multiple re-pressings and alternate pressings, just try to make sure that you have the "OG" when you are buying one of these. The catalog number is: SKNK-VNL-100 & "Get Out" is not to be found on this release. Even though the vinyl says: copyright 1991 and all, this vinyl was really not pressed (or released) until 2001. This is the REAL dope.. straight from Skunk.... And straight from the band that they call "sublime"!
THE INSANELY RARE "WHAT I GOT" 4 TRACK D.J. 12" VINYL This is THE EXTREMELY,.... Let me repeat that,.... EXTREMELY RARE,..... "What I Got" D.J. 12" Vinyl! What is so RARE about this thing is that it was an "Advance Promotional Copy" of what essentially became the "What I Got" European Yellow 7" vinyl single/EP. BUT, BUT! what's REALLY ODD here (and AWESOME) is that it (Unlike the UK 7" which only has TWO tracks on it.) has 4 (FOUR) tracks on it!! It's a mishmash of the "What I Got" singles to come (or that were already released) ON VINYL !!! And, Start trippin' now..... It has "ALL YOU NEED" on it!!!! So, you have Two versions of "What I Got", "Rivers of Babylon", AND! "ALL YOU NEED" on one vinyl! It's insane and VERY, VERY RARELY SEEN If ever. If you EVER see this vinyl, grab it and hold onto it! I have seen this particular vinyl go for upwards of $600.00 +..... So, enjoy & keep your eyes peeled!!! WOW.
THE “ROBBIN THE HOOD” (1st Press) COLORED MAGENTA/PINK SWIRLED 2X VINYL If you know sublime, you know that “Robbin The Hood” is a complete masterpiece on so many levels. FINALLY ON VINYL, the 1st Pressing of “Robbin the Hood" was pressed as a limited edition of ONLY 2000 pressed Pink/Magenta and Black Swirled vinyls. It’s pressed on 180 Gram colored vinyl & was released in 2011. There was only ONE pressing with no plans of a repress. This double vinyl was released on “Skunk”, “Gasoline Alley” and “Geffen” Records. The sound quality on this double vinyl is bad ass & even if you just frame them and put them up on your wall, they are absolutely beautiful to look at.
THE “40 OZ. TO FREEDOM” COLORED ORANGE/PINK SWIRLED 2X VINYL (1st Press) The “40 oz. to Freedom" LIMITED EDITION Orange and Pink Swirled vinyl !! These vinyls were released in 2010 & there was a FIRST Pressing of ONLY 2000 pressed that SOLD OUT in a matter of WEEKS!! After that, there was the SECOND Press of ONLY 500 made. **The Difference is that with the First Press, the vinyls are both DIFFERENT, but with the Second Press, BOTH vinyls are IDENTICAL.** This double vinyl was released on “Skunk” and “Geffen” Records by Erika Records. The sound quality is amazing; unlike the other Erika "40 oz." pressings & is identical on BOTH pressings.
THE “SELF TITLED" (1st Press) 180 GRAM DOUBLE GATEFOLD VINYL Here is the 1st Pressing Double Vinyl issue of sublime’s “Self Titled” release. This album was FIRST released in 2008 on double vinyl 12 YEARS after it's initial release! This Double Vinyl is a Gatefold, fold-out with killer new pictures of the guys, song lyrics, and some huge bad ass pictures on the sleeves that hold the vinyl(s)!! The “S/T” Double Vinyl is printed on 180 gram, thick ass Black vinyl, the gatefold is Super strong, thick cardboard, The artwork by Opie is completely awesome, and the pictures that are on the inside are straight up a MUST for Framing.
SUBLIME "UNRELEASED DEMOS" JAPANESE 12" VINYL THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE JAPANESE IMPORT 12". IT WAS A LIMITED PRESSING OF SAID TO BE 200 THAT INCLUDES ALL OF THE SONGS THAT YOU'LL FIND ON, SAY.... THE "SINSEMILLA" BOOTLEG & OTHER OBSCURE RELEASES, BUT THE KEY THING HERE IS THAT IT'S ON VINYL. ALTHOUGH, NOT AN "OFFICIAL" RELEASE FROM SUBLIME, THIS IS A GREAT FIND... IF YOU CAN FIND IT,.... DUE TO THE FACT THAT ALL OF THE DEMOS THAT WE ALL LOVE ARE HERE ON 180 G VINYL. IT'S OUT OF PRINT SO KEEP YOUR EYE OUT!
THE "STEP INTO A WORLD" JAPANESE 12" VINYL This is ONLY ONE of the infamous "Japanese" Bootleg 12" vinyls. I will be putting up all of these for you in the coming months. There were only 200 of these "Step Into A World" vinyls made! Several different sublime titles like this one were made via Japanese Bootleg vinyl; for instance: "bumS lie" & they (in most cases) have different titles like: ""One Good Spliff", "Prince of Sin", "Unreleased Demos" & "Hot Summer Nights", etc. All with RARE tracks that (in most cases) did not come out on vinyl. The names on most of these were changed to avoid copyright infringement. All titles were produced in numbers of 200; unless noted. Very, Very cool & VERY rare!!
SUBLIME "JAH IS NOT DEAD" JAPANESE 12" VINYL This is a VERY RARE Japanese vinyl. If you see it, pick it up for sure! This is the vinyl version of the INFAMOUS “Pure Anus” underground release from “sublime” & we all know that “Pure Anus” rules,… & The difference here is that with “Pure Anus”, the original source material was a cassette (or cassettes) so you would never know if you got a 15th Generation Dub or not when you got your CD-r copy of it. This vinyl, however, is said to be a direct vinyl pressing from the 1st Generation source! Pressed in the 100's (said to be either 100 or 200 made!), this thing is mega rare & the audio sounds great!
SUBLIME "FIRECRACKER LOUNGE" JAPANESE 12" VINYL This one is also EXTREMELY RARE. The "Firecracker Lounge" CD in itself is Very Hard to Find and so finding it on vinyl is about as tough as it gets. The vinyl came in a generic Black sleeve with a sticker on the top. This vinyl was also said to be a production run of only 100 or 200 made, so if you see one of these, make sure and grab it! Also, the audio quality is very good and I would assume that the people who produced it made a Master directly from the CD (which has Great audio quality) & then pressed it onto wax. Very cool....
THE "SOUND OF VINYL" BRADLEY'S 50TH BIRTHDAY “SELF TITLED" OPAQUE BLUE/YELLOW VINYL! THIS, RIGHT HERE PEOPLE, IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MOST AWESOME RELEASE OF SUBLIME'S S/T" ON VINYL. DOUBLE VINYL WITH ONE DISC BEING OPAQUE BLUE & THE OTHER BEING OPAQUE YELLOW! *** THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GETTING THIS RELEASE IS THAT THERE IS A "LIMITED EDITION" STICKER (ON THE PACKAGING) OVER THE BARCODE!*** (LOOK FOR IT BECAUSE THE BARCODE UNDERNEATH THE STICKER IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL 2008 RELEASE. FOR REASONS UNKNOWN, THEY USED THE OLD BARCODE ON THE PACKAGING.) THESE WERE ONLY AVAILABLE ON THEIR WEBSITE & WERE NOT SOLD IN STORES. THESE WERE LIMITED TO 500 PRESSED & SOLD OUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THERE WAS LITTLE TO NO "PROMOTION" FOR THESE, THEY BASICALLY JUST DROPPED THEM ON THE DAY OF BRAD'S BIRTHDAY & THEY SOLD OUT ON THEIR WEBSITE WITHIN A WEEK! I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW BEAUTIFUL THESE ARE, YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE ONE IN PERSON. THEY ARE THE HEAVY 180 GRAM VINYL, & THE COLORS ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. THE SOUND/AUDIO OF THE VINYL(S) IS ALSO COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE-THE BEST I HAVE HEARD-CRISP & CLEAR. IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO OWN ONE OF THESE, DON'T HESITATE TO BUY IT!
